Wild Cats of India
No country in the world is home to the Tiger, Snow Leopard, Leopard and the Lion all at once. Powerful, enigmatic & extraordinary, big cats remain the soul of the country. The first episode follows the lives of the big four that dominate contrasting landscapes from the cold mountains of the Himalaya to the dense jungles of the Western Ghats, from the arid regions of Gir to even the sprawling urban cities across the country. In the second episode Sandesh Kadur is on a quest to unravel the mysteries of the lesser known felines. He travels deep into the realm of the rare clouded leopard, visits one of India’s most densely populated regions in search of the elusive fishing cat and films a family of Jungle cats co-existing with a Bengal fox family.
